The StoryAidEU Academy is for all stakeholders involved in healthcare practice or education who wish to learn more about how to provide humanistic care, in a collaborative practice setting, through storytelling. The Academy provides tailored training and associated resources for students, practitioners and educators to learn more about the key research areas of our project and the skills involved in enact storytelling and provide humanistic care.

Student
If you are a student in an institution that currently lacks training and education in storytelling as a skill or humanism as a practice, then this is the place for you. We have developed a training course that can enable you to learn on your own or with other students within your own network. The online training course takes around 3 hours to complete and is accompanied by a coursebook and case studies which provide practical examples of how each of our 12 modules can be put into practice.

If you are a current healthcare practitioner and you feel that you lack formal training in storytelling as a skill or humanism as a practice, then this is the place for you. We have developed a training course that can enable you to learn on your own or as a team within your own network. The online training course takes around 3 hours to complete and is accompanied by a coursebook and case studies which provide practical examples of how each of our 12 modules can be put into practice.

Educator
We want our our toolkit to be implemented in an many education and training institutes as possible. That’s why we have developed multiple tools to help educators teach storytelling and improve humanism in healthcare. You can take our online training course which last around 1.5 hours which will give you all the information you need, including an overview of each module and implementation road map, to teach this important topic to your students right away. Alternatively, you can read our training guide and make use of our repository of teaching materials such as case studies, workshop suggestions and interactive videos.
